EN 590 is the European standard for automotive diesel — ultra-low-sulphur diesel (ULSD). Below are the key specification limits and their EN ISO test methods, and how the fuel we supply meets them.

EN 590 defines the physical and chemical properties automotive diesel must meet across the European Union and many other markets. Its defining feature is a maximum sulphur content of 10 mg/kg (10 ppm) — the “10ppm” grade — alongside controls on cetane, density, viscosity, flash point, lubricity and distillation.
